As an underwater photographer, I’m always looking for lighting equipment that’s both reliable and high-performing. After testing the Letonpower Sealion L24 on several dives, I can say I’m genuinely impressed.
These video lights deliver powerful and even illumination, with a wide 120° beam that’s perfect for both wide-angle scenes and close-up shooting. With 12,000 real lumens and a high CRI, the color rendering is natural and vibrant — exactly what I need to do justice to the underwater world.
I’ve used them for both macro photography and wider scenes, and in both cases the light has been smooth, consistent, and free of harsh hotspots, making post-processing much easier. The red and blue light modes are a great bonus: red helps approach marine life without disturbing it, and blue adds creative or fluorescence effects.
Battery life is excellent: I can easily cover a full dive without worrying about the lights running out. The USB-C charging makes them super convenient, especially when traveling.
Build quality is solid and professional — anodized aluminum housing, sturdy button, and reliable waterproofing up to 100 meters. They stay cool and are easy to handle, even with gloves.
✅ In short:
Excellent brightness and beam coverage,Realistic, well-balanced color rendering,Useful red/blue light modes,Long battery life,Great value for money!
